In CrossFit, we use a variety of functional movements to help improve our overall fitness. Functional movements are ones that mimic everyday activities such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. By using these types of movements in our workouts, we can better prepare our bodies for the real-world tasks that we may encounter on a daily basis.
When you come to class, be sure to bring water and a towel. You may also want to bring a change of clothes if you plan on working out hard! Most importantly, though, just come ready to work hard and have fun!
